Used safely in Europe for over two decades, baby sleeping bags (also called wearable blankets or sleep sacks) are the favorite ways of covering babies in Europe. Well, American moms struggle with the same issues:
"Although my son is almost two, I can't sleep through the night yet, waking up several times, to check if he is covered. Surely Thomas is usually sprawled on the top of his blanket or comforter, no matter how I tucked it in. How can I keep him from kicking off the blanket and get a good night of sleep finally?"
Kathryn P. Seattle, WA
"I never know if my baby is too hot or too cold. Those baby comforters would never stay on. I could not find those special sleeping bags for babies that everybody uses in Europe. Lily is either sweating or curled up with icy hands."
Angelica M. New York, NY
“I guess I read too much about SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and now I am constantly checking if she is breathing. What if her face gets covered by the blanket? How can I keep her on her back as recommended by the experts?”
Monica K. Long Beach, CA
Why should I try a baby sleeping bag (sleep sack) instead of a blanket?
It is difficult to figure out why a baby is crying but feeling cold is the most common reason that parents tend to overlook. Cozy Bag sleep sacks are warm enough to replace baby bedding, such as comforters or blankets, yet breathable and sleeveless to avoid overheating. SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) guidelines recommend no loose bedding in the crib and sleeping the baby on its back. Baby sleeping bags are a safer alternative to traditional, loose baby bedding. The child cannot slide under the blanket and get the face covered. Some children get so used to sleep sacks that they insist on getting a larger size when they grow out of the baby size sleeping bags.

How can I put my child into the baby sleeping bag?
To get the child into the Cozy Bag sleep sack, you simply place the baby into an unzipped sleeping bag on the bed, slide the arms in and close the zip.
What age group are Cozy Bags recommended for?
Best is to start when your child is an infant. When babies start turning over by themselves, they should already be in a Cozy Bag sleep sack. Our baby sleeping bags fits ages 0-2 with plenty of leg room.
